A full-time Occupational Therapy Assistant, (COTA/OTA), position is available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department located in New Milford, CT. This position offers a $5,000 sign-on or relocation bonus!
Candlewood Valley Health and Rehab is a busy sub-acute/skilled nursing facility where you would be working with the geriatric population and see a good mix of short-term and long-term care patients. We have a dedicated 30 bed short term rehab, 2 long term care units and also a secured dementia unit. Scheduling allows for flexible and accommodating hours. Our rehab center is well regarded within the community we serve. Our team is very supportive complete with a fantastic rehab director and a full rehab team that works well together! We are located in New Milford Connecticut minutes from the town green with beautiful shopping, restaurants and hiking trails.

Responsibilities and Qualifications:
The qualified candidate will:
· Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting
· Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team-working environment
· Possess a current Occupational Therapy Assistant license or be license eligible to practice in the state employed
· Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and have experience with electronic documentation
· Demonstrate good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation
· Work well with others in a team setting
· Be flexible with hours.
