Playsmart Therapy Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate, motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our pediatric team. Working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you'll help children build fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and developmental skills — making therapy feel like play while building strong partnerships with families.
Job Responsibilities
Implement OT treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
Provide direct, engaging pediatric therapy services
Document session notes, progress, and outcomes accurately and on time
Communicate regularly with the supervising OT regarding client progress
Collaborate with parents/caregivers, support coordinators, and the broader care team
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming therapy environment
Assist with maintaining therapy equipment and materials

Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
Current state licensure/certification as a COTA (or eligibility)
Experience with pediatric populations preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
