    Join our team as a day shift, part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Roswell, NM.

    Get to Know Your Team: 

    • Lovelace Regional Hospital includes 24/7 emergency services, intensive care, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, surgical and birthing services for Roswell and the surrounding community.
    Responsibilities:
    • Provide occupational therapy services as directed by a licensed occupational therapist. May work in collaboration with other health care professionals.

    • May provide treatment to individuals or groups as necessary.

    • Identify and prioritize patient problems and notify the Occupational Therapist of areas of concern with patient response.

    • Responsible for completing basic occupational therapy assistant competencies in addition to departmental-specific competencies.

    • Meet productivity expectations for level of care.
    • Provide detailed and concise documentation related to patient care.
    • Take ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
    • Communicate and listen effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understand instructions and share knowledge.

    • Cooperate and interact with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to “service”.

    Qualifications:

    Job Requirements:

    • Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant.
    • Licensed or licensure-eligible COTA in the State of New Mexico.
    • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

    Preferred Job Requirements:

    • One (1) year of related experience.
