Position Summary:

 

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our in-house therapy team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, a strong communicator, and committed to helping residents regain independence and improve their quality of life.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in providing high-quality occupational therapy services to residents.
  • Carry out treatment plans designed to help residents develop or regain daily living and work skills.
  • Document resident progress, responses, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Educate residents and families on treatment plans and progress.
  • Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.

 

Qualifications:

  • Current State COTA License (or eligible)
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • CPR certification (preferred)
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
