POSITION SUMMARY Reports To: Director of Rehab Services Summary: Employee will be responsible for assisting resident Occupational Therapists. Primary duties include completing occupational therapy treatments, patient/family education, clerical work, and supervisory work. Employee normally performs the duty assignments after receiving general instructions as to methods, procedures, and desired end results. The assignment is reviewed upon completion. Work Schedule: May work 8 to 10-hour days between the hours of 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. On-call and Holiday coverage on a PRN basis.Must be able to work non-standard hours, including evenings and weekends. SKILLS ABILITIES Education Associates degree(two-year college or technical school) Experience Six months to one year related experience Computer Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility. Certificates Licenses Must possess a valid Indiana drivers license and have a good driving record. Current State of Indiana COTA license required. BLS certification is also required. Other Requirements Eighteen (18) hours of continuing competency are required for each license renewal period. This position requires frequent standing, walking, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending, use of hands and fingers, lifting and carrying 050 lbs and pushing or pulling 025 lbs.
