Exciting Opportunity in the Idaho Falls, ID area: School Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant(s) – COTA

We're currently seeking School Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant(s) – COTA ($27+ an hour depending on experience) in the Idaho Falls, ID area.
 
Qualifications: 

• Appropriate Degree in Occupational Therapy
• Idaho license to practice COTA or eligible
• Mentorship Available for New Grads

Role Overview:
As a COTA, you will support students in both school and clinic settings by assessing their needs, developing individualized plans, and implementing interventions to help them succeed academically, socially, and physically. This role offers the opportunity to work with young learners in a supportive school environment while making a lasting impact on their development.

Position Details:

• In-person only   

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assess students' motor, sensory, and functional abilities to identify areas of need and develop individualized therapy plans.
• Deliver targeted occupational therapy interventions in accordance with students' IEPs, helping them achieve academic and developmental goals.
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other specialists to create supportive learning environments tailored to students' unique needs.
• Contribute to the development of IEPs by offering insights on motor development, sensory needs, and appropriate accommodation or modifications.

• We offer flexible scheduling with the option to work 5 days a week or 4 days a week.  Each therapist's schedule is built with the individual therapist.  Most therapists either work 8-5 or 9-5pm.  Some take every other Friday afternoon off or another day if it’s better for their schedule.
• Clinic case load is generally scheduled for 8-9 patients a day (hour long sessions).
• School team members may see 8-10 students (half hour sessions) or fewer if there are IEPs scheduled.
• We offer annual performance reviews with wage increases.
