Position Overview


We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) who is passionate about patient care and eager to grow with us. This role offers flexible scheduling, with opportunities for both full-time and part-time work.


As a COTA, you will:


  • Report to the Rehab Director and coordinate weekly schedules with office staff
  • Provide therapy services in assisted living and home health settings
  • Support patients in achieving functional goals through individualized care plans
Responsibilities


  • Communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Observe, assess, and document patient progress
  • Adapt to changing patient needs and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Interpret technical instructions related to patient care
Qualifications


  • Valid Indiana COTA license in good standing
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
  • Specialized skills in areas such as: 
    • Hand therapy and ergonomics
    • Blind/visual rehabilitation and assistive technology
    • Functional capacity evaluations
    • Polytrauma, TBI, spinal cord injury, geriatrics, mental health
    • Driver rehabilitation and home-based primary care
  • Evidence of annual TB test and other state-required screenings
