Beloit Health System at Beloit Clinic Ophthalmology is hiring for a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant.Shift: 1stSchedule: 8a-5pHours per week: 40 hours per weekBenefits Status: Benefits EligibleDepartment: Beloit Clinic OphthalmologyThis Certified Ophthalmic Assistant position will work as part of our busy Ophthalmology Department at Beloit Clinic. In this position the Certified Ophthalmic Assistant will schedule biometries, order supplies, perform visual fields, assist in exams with providers, complete scribe duties, document and assist in department as needed.This Certified Ophthalmic Assistant will assure efficient delivery of patient care by serving as a resource and expert to staff in Ophthalmology department. This Certified Ophthalmic Assistant will provide train on all current and new equipment and electronic medical recording devices. This Certified Ophthalmic Assistant will:Prepares patient medical records in preparation for appointmentEscorts patient to room and updates medical history and vitalsPrepares patient for exam by completing diagnostic procedures as directedAssesses interior chamber depthAssists with fundus photography and fluorescein angiographyPerforms biometricsPrepares patient for examination or proceduresAssists with patient inquiriesMay act as scribeJob Requirements:Completion of accredited Ophthalmology Program, or High School Diploma with 2 years of experience.Must complete certification within 2 years or hire.Experience in Ophthalmology DepartmentExceptional customer services skillsJoin Our Team- Apply Today!
