Contract Duration: 8 Weeks
Shift: Mid Shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 5x8-Hour Shifts
Pay Rate:
- Local: $30–$33/hour (based on experience)
- Travel: Up to $38/hour (including stipend, based on experience)

Position Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) to support surgical and sterile processing operations within a hospital setting. The role involves preparing, sterilizing, and maintaining surgical instruments and ensuring strict adherence to infection control and sterile processing standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, clean, inspect, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment
- Operate autoclaves, gas sterilizers, and related sterilization equipment per hospital protocols
- Maintain strict sterile technique and infection prevention standards in all processes
- Assist operating room staff with case setup and instrument preparation
- Inspect and assemble surgical trays, ensuring proper functionality and completeness
- Maintain inventory and organize sterile processing supplies
- Document sterilization cycles and maintain accurate processing records
- Handle transportation of surgical equipment and instrument trays safely
- Follow all hospital safety policies and regulatory compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Central Service Technician Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of central sterile processing experience
- Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, autoclaves, and sterilization systems
- Understanding of infection control and sterile processing procedures
- Ability to lift, push, and handle heavy instrument trays and equipment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) program completion preferred
- CRCST certification preferred
- Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred
- 3+ years of sterile processing experience preferred
