What You’ll Do:

• Independently scrub liver recipient transplants and large open belly cases
• Assist with a variety of complex surgical procedures including general, urology, thoracic, gynecological, plastics, Whipple, liver resection, and free flap surgeries
• Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
• Collaborate with surgical team during high-volume surgeries averaging 35 cases per day
• Support use of advanced equipment such as DaVinci XI
• Participate in a 6-week schedule with 40-60 hours of call, including weekends

What You Need:

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with NBSTSA certification
• Valid BCLS certification
• At least 2 years of surgical experience, with specific transplant experience
• Expertise in large open surgeries, including liver transplant procedures
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and intraoperative assistance
• Ability to work weekends and handle call duties effectively
