Join Our Team as a Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Surgical Services
Are you a skilled and dedicated Surgical Tech looking to make a meaningful impact in a dynamic hospital environment? We are seeking a highly experienced and passionate Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) to join our Surgical Services team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, supporting complex surgical procedures, including liver transplants, and making a difference in patient outcomes. What Youll Bring:
- Proven experience with liver transplant procedures, able to scrub liver recipient transplants independently (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Extensive surgical background with large open belly cases, general surgeries, urology, thoracic, gynecology, plastics, Whipple procedures, liver resections, and free flap surgeries
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and maintaining sterile fields
- Ability to operate advanced surgical equipment, including DaVinci XI robotic system
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
- Current BCLS and NBSTSA certification
Nice to Have:
- Experience with high-volume surgical environments
- Familiarity with other complex surgeries and surgical instrumentation
- Additional certifications or specialized training in transplant or minimally invasive procedures
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA
- At least 2 years of surgical technologist experience in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Prior experience with transplant surgeries is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) on a 3 days per week schedule
- Willingness to participate in a rotating call schedule totaling 40-60 hours over six weeks
- Commitment to working during holidays as required
- Valid licensure and certifications, travel and related reimbursements applicable
Salary: $50.69 per hour
Shift Duration: Night shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
