About the Opportunity
Operation Get Fit (OGF) is seeking an experienced Certified Personal Trainer to provide personal training and small group fitness services for our corporate wellness clients in West Houston's Energy Corridor.
This role is centered on hands on personal training. You'll work directly with clients of varying ages, fitness levels, abilities, and experience, helping them safely build strength, endurance, flexibility, stamina, and confidence.
OGF provides the corporate client assignments; trainers are not responsible for recruiting or sourcing their own clients.
We're looking for a trainer who combines strong technical knowledge with an engaging coaching style and exceptional professionalism. Because you'll represent OGF at our client locations, dependability, communication, adaptability, and the ability to build positive relationships are just as important as fitness expertise.
Experience leading group exercise can lead to other opportunities, but personal training is the primary focus of this position.
What You'll Do
● Lead engaging one-on-one and small group personal training sessions
● Demonstrate proper exercise form and technique and provide real-time coaching, corrections, and encouragement
● Adapt exercises and training approaches based on individual fitness levels, abilities, and limitations
● Create safe, effective session sequences that support strength, endurance, flexibility, stamina, and overall fitness
● Build rapport with clients and create a positive, motivating training environment
● Maintain client safety throughout every session
● Communicate professionally with OGF and our corporate clients
● Arrive prepared and on time for all accepted assignments
● Follow OGF and client-site policies, procedures, and professional standards
Who We're Looking For
You may be a strong fit if you:
● Are confident coaching clients with different fitness levels and abilities
● Know how to modify and progress exercises appropriately
● Have strong knowledge of proper exercise technique and fitness equipment use
● Can motivate clients without compromising safety
● Communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully
● Are dependable and take your commitments seriously
● Are comfortable working independently at a corporate client location
