WSi Healthcare Personnel is hiring a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team serving the Colorado Department of Corrections in Colorado Springs. What You'll Do
- Prepare, fill, and dispense prescriptions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Package and repackage medications using automated blister packaging equipment
- Maintain medication inventory and stock levels
- Receive, organize, and store medications and medical supplies
- Process returned medications and maintain accurate pharmacy records
- Utilize pharmacy software to manage patient information, medication records, and prescription labels
- Provide medication and formulary information to clinical staff
- Maintain controlled substance and prescription records in accordance with regulations
- Assist pharmacists with daily pharmacy operations and administrative tasks
- Help train new pharmacy team members as needed
What We're Looking For
- Current Colorado Pharmacy Technician registration (CPhT preferred)
- Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Experience using pharmacy software is a plus
- Must be a Colorado resident at the time of application
