Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision
Assist with procurement, storage, and inventory management of pharmaceuticals
Maintain accurate patient medication records and documentation
Support pharmacists in safe and effective medication dispensing
Assist with administrative and operational pharmacy tasks
Ensure compliance with proper handling, billing, and accountability procedures
Respond efficiently to medication requests and urgent needs
Collaborate with healthcare staff to support patient care across the hospital
2–3 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred
Experience in a hospital based pharmacy setting
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Emotional maturity and ability to perform under pressure
Required: Registration with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician
Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Collaborative teamwork with pharmacy and healthcare staff
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Ability to handle frequent interruptions and changing priorities
Effective written and verbal communication
Capable of supporting medication needs for patients across all age groups (neonatal to geriatric)
