About the Opportunity
The Staff Pad has partnered with Blue Ridge Medical Center to hire a Certified Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacy team in delivering safe, accurate, and efficient medication services. This role assists pharmacists with medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and documentation to ensure high standards of patient safety and pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and dispense medications under pharmacist supervision

  • Assist with procurement, storage, and inventory management of pharmaceuticals

  • Maintain accurate patient medication records and documentation

  • Support pharmacists in safe and effective medication dispensing

  • Assist with administrative and operational pharmacy tasks

  • Ensure compliance with proper handling, billing, and accountability procedures

  • Respond efficiently to medication requests and urgent needs

  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to support patient care across the hospital

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred

  • Experience in a hospital based pharmacy setting

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment

  • Emotional maturity and ability to perform under pressure

Licenses & Certifications

  • Required: Registration with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician

  • Preferred: National Pharmacy Technician Certification
