Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2+ years Pharmacy Technician experience
  • Current Pharmacy Registration and Certification as required by the state of operation
  • Basic computer skills
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and able to complete repetitive work

Physical requirements:

  • Ability to stand 8+ hours
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (cart assistance available)
  • Ability to bend, squat, twist, and reach

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Must be available between 7:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Must be able to close at least 1 night/week (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
  • A defined schedule will be provided after onboarding

Pay Rate $18–$22.00/hr (depending on experience)

About the Role

Join a high-volume pharmacy fulfillment environment supporting the preparation and distribution of prescription medications. In this role you’ll help process prescription exceptions, resolve billing/claim issues, and support patient/physician outreach while partnering closely with pharmacists and the broader pharmacy team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of prescription drug products
  • Prepare prescription medications using the fulfillment system
  • Process prescription exceptions, including:
    resolving claim rejects
    member and physician outreach
  • Enter member demographics and prescription information into the system
  • Research and resolve rejected insurance billing and escalated member issues
  • Escalate prescription interpretation questions to a Pharmacist
  • Assist with inbound/outbound calls with patients or physicians
