Work Schedule: This is a day shift with an evening rotation. Shifts start as early as 7:00am or as late as 2:00pm if scheduled evening rotation. There is an evening time differential that is a percentage of your hourly pay when you work evenings after a certain hour. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, working every 3rd weekend (both Saturday and Sunday). Full-time technicians work two holidays, one in summer and one in winter. Will be trained and staffed in non-sterile and sterile areas.
This Certified Pharmacy Technician position is responsible for providing Pharmacy Services within the Inpatient and Outpatient Pharmacy Department of the Nemours Alfred I DuPont Hospital for Children (AIDHC). The position is responsible for assisting in the preparation (including technical aspects of preparation) and delivery of all medications to patients. This position is responsible for providing customer service to internal and external customers, working under the operational supervision of the pharmacist. The majority of tasks and responsibilities are related to preparing, dispensing and distributing medications.
