The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a respected hospital in Las Vegas, NM, to hire an organized and professional Certified Pharmacy Technician for a hospital -based role with rotating shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Under the direction of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician supports medication preparation, distribution, and inventory management.<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Schedule: Full -Time | Days<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

  • Assist with medication preparation, dispensing, delivery, labeling, storage and recordkeeping<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, supplies, ordering, receiving, and medication restocking<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Compound sterile and non -sterile preparations in compliance with safety standards<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Support insurance processing and prior authorizations as directed<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Operate and maintain pharmacy automation systems and equipment<\/span><\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain regulatory compliance <\/span><\/span>
    <\/li><\/ul>

    What We Are Looking For<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>

    Qualifications<\/span><\/span>
    <\/p>

    • High school diploma or GED required<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Completion of Pharmacy Technician training program preferred<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Current New Mexico Pharmacy Technician license (or eligibility to obtain)<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • 1+ year of previous hospital or clinical pharmacy experience<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Additional Requirements<\/span><\/span>
      <\/p>

      • Knowledge of medical terminology and Medications<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Strong communication, organizational, computer skills & attention to detail<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Ability to multitask in a fast -paced environment<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>
