In this role youll work alongside Clinical Pharmacists nurses and physicians to ensure medications are prepared delivered and managed safely throughout the organization. What Youll Do

As a Hospital Pharmacy Technician you will support daily pharmacy operations and help ensure medications reach patients safely and efficiently. Responsibilities include

• Prepare and deliver medications across the hospital in accordance with established pharmacy policies and procedures

• Manage and refill Automated Dispensing Cabinets ADCs throughout the hospital

• Handle and distribute controlled substances Schedule II-VI medications in compliance with regulatory standards

• Pick package and restock medications accurately for inpatient units

• Prepare and repackage unit-dose medications

• Assist with sterile and non-sterile medication compounding following established protocols

• Provide excellent customer service to nurses physicians and healthcare staff

• Support medication inventory management and ensure accurate transfers between pharmacy and hospital inventory locations

• Escalate medication or patient care questions to the Clinical Pharmacist on duty

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Completion of a Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred

Experience

• Previous experience as a Hospital Pharmacy Technician preferred

• Experience working with Automated Dispensing Cabinets medication preparation or hospital pharmacy workflows is a plus

Licensure & Certification

• Active Pharmacy Technician Registration - Commonwealth of Massachusetts required

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification CPhT required
