Temp to Hire position available in Sachse Texas for an experienced Certified Pharmacy Technician with 2 years of experience using Liberty software, good understanding of a pharmacy workflow and with a Flexible scheduling.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmacy operations and possess excellent communication and customer service skills. In this role, you will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently

- Maintain proper inventory levels and order medications and supplies as needed

- Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently

- Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to clarify prescription information and address any concerns

- Resolve insurance and billing issues

- Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering questions and offering guidance when needed

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

- Adhere to all pharmacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA guidelines

- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on industry developments and best practices

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Current certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician using Liberty Software. 

- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and terminology

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Detail-oriented and able to maintain accuracy in a high-volume setting

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
