At NorthBay Health the Certified Phlebotomy Technician I works under the supervision of the Laboratory Director, Laboratory Supervisor, CPT Supervisor, the Lead Certified Phlebotomy Technician and Clinical Laboratory Scientist. Licensure/Certification: A Certified Phlebotomy Technician I (CPT I) certificate or higher Phlebotomy (CPA) or Laboratory license (MLT/CLS) issued by the state of California.Experience: One-year acute care hospital experience preferred or externship at a NorthBay Healthcare System facility preferred. Skills: Phlebotomy. Basic medical terminology, typing, math and computer skills.
