Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. The PTA will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality patient care, assist in implementing treatment plans, and help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals. Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.

  • Assist in carrying out individualized treatment plans for patients to improve mobility, strength, and function.

  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes to the Physical Therapist.

  • Educate patients and their families on exercises, mobility techniques, and home programs.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe therapy environment.

  • Support clinic operations by assisting with scheduling, patient flow, and basic administrative tasks as needed.

  • Travel to other clinic locations when required.

Qualifications:


  • Current and valid Certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of IL.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in an outpatient or orthopedic physical therapy setting preferred (new graduates will be considered)
  • Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • CPR/BLS certification preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Reliable transportation for travel between clinic sites.

Work Schedule:


  • Monday through Friday, plus some Saturday mornings.

  • Schedule may vary based on patient needs and clinic assignments.
