We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Certified Teacher to join our team as a 4-year-old preschool teacher. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education and will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive growth of preschool-aged children.
This position has the option to be full time or part time
Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.
Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment.
Foster children's social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance and engagement strategies.
Observe, assess, and document student progress and developmental milestones.
Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance the educational experience.
Maintain compliance with school policies and applicable childcare regulations.
Encourage creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning in young children.
Qualifications
Previous experience working with preschool-aged children or in a daycare setting is required.
Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles and best practices.
Experience with lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Familiarity with child welfare practices and early intervention strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
