Position Summary
We are seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive growth of preschool-aged children.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational goals.
  • Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and positive classroom environment.
  • Foster children's social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive guidance and engagement strategies.
  • Observe, assess, and document student progress and developmental milestones.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to enhance the educational experience.
  • Maintain compliance with school policies and applicable childcare regulations.
  • Encourage creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning in young children.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working with preschool-aged children or in a daycare setting is required.
  • Knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles and best practices.
  • Experience with lesson planning and curriculum implementation.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with child welfare practices and early intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Education Requirements
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
