Compensation:
Pay Range: $40,000-$43,000 Per Year
Description:
• This position involves providing peer support in a healthcare setting for individuals with co-occurring disorders.
• Located in Brooklyn, NY, this full-time role requires flexibility for one remote day per week.
• Candidates must be adept in using generic office software for documentation.
Requirements:
• Engage with clients across various treatment modalities.
• Serve as a personal guide to facilitate recovery.
• Ensure care adheres to Trauma Informed Best Practice criteria.
• Participate in reflective supervision and demonstrate self-assessment skills.
• Utilize motivational techniques to develop Wellness Recovery Action Plans.
• Facilitate support groups and community activities.
• Conduct rapid testing following agency protocols.
Qualifications:
• Certification as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or Provisional (CRPA-P) required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in peer recovery support for mental health and/or substance use disorders.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.
• Flexibility to travel across different levels of care.
• Basic computer skills, including generic office software.
