    Certified Medical Assistant

    Location: Lexington, GA

    Job Type: Full-time

    Hours:

    Mon,Tues,Thurs- 7:30am-4:30pm

    Weds- 7:30am-6:30pm

    Fri- 7:30am-3:30pm

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team and support healthcare professionals in providing top-notch medical services to our community.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
    • Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and updates in electronic health records (eClinicalworks)
    • Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical equipment is sterilized and ready for use
    • Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
    • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
    • Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and health maintenance
    • Handle scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks as needed
    • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment

    Qualifications & Skills:

    • Certification: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
    • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred
    • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
    • Skills: Excellent communication, multitasking, and patient care skills
    • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer skills
