What Youll Bring to the Role:
- Current Board Certification as a CRNA (BC required)
- Active DEA license and CSR credentials
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of anesthesia experience (willing to consider candidates with as little as 6 months)
- Comfortable working in a supervised environment with a maximum patient-to-provider ratio of 4:1
- Proficiency in supervising anesthesia across a broad range of specialties including GYN, general surgery, ortho, spine, crani, plastics, and more
- Ability to handle Level II trauma cases and perform spinal blocks
- Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Strong commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence
Nice to Have Skills & Experience:
- Experience with arterial lines (though not a requirement)
- Exposure to EP, endo, interventional radiology, and radiology procedures
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system
- Ability to adapt to different practice settings and workflows
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- At least 6 months to 1 year of recent anesthesia practice in a hospital setting
- Open to licensed candidates, with licensing assistance available; credentialing typically completed within 30-45 days (up to 90-120 days if licensing is pending)
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work approximately 40 hours per week, with shifts varying between 8, 10, and 12 hours, including back-to-back shifts and 24-hour coverage
- Availability to work during the Christmas holiday season
- Ability to travel between Boise and Nampa as needed
- Scrubs will be provided
