Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Position Overview:
We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to join our Federal healthcare team. This role is ideal for experienced professionals passionate about delivering safe, high-quality anesthesia care across a wide variety of surgical procedures and patient populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations and preparations.
- Provide intra-operative care, including the selection, preparation, and administration of anesthetics (general and/or regional) and related medications.
- Utilize, monitor, and maintain all equipment and supplies necessary for anesthesia administration.
- Manage airway procedures, including advanced techniques such as fiber-optic intubation.
- Perform and manage central neuraxial anesthetic techniques (subarachnoid, epidural, caudal).
- Be trained to perform and manage peripheral regional anesthetic techniques (upper/lower extremity plexus blocks, individual nerve blocks, IV regional blocks, airway blocks, and other indicated regional blocks).
- Initiate and provide respiratory support to ensure patient ventilation and oxygenation.
- Conduct thorough post-anesthesia follow-up and evaluate patients’ responses, initiating corrective action and consulting as needed.
- Maintain detailed documentation and adhere to all protocols and safety standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience providing general and regional anesthesia for diverse patient populations and procedures, including major vascular, neurosurgical, and thoracic cases.
- Active and current certifications:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for L&D CRNAs
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background clearance.
