Description

We are seeking a Certified Spanish Translator/Interpreter to join our busy and growing dental practice. This role is essential in ensuring clear communication between our dental team and our Spanish-speaking patients, helping to provide an exceptional patient experience. Working remotely is a possibility 


Responsibilities:


  • Provide accurate verbal interpretation between English and Spanish during patient appointments.
  • Translate patient forms, treatment plans, consent forms, and other documents as needed.
  • Assist patients with understanding diagnoses, treatment options, and post-operative instructions.
  • Facilitate effective communication between dentists, staff, and Spanish-speaking patients.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
  • Support the front desk and clinical team with patient communication as needed.
Qualifications:


  • Spanish-English Translator/Interpreter certification in the state of NY
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or dental setting is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
