• 3:00 PM-11:30 PM

Schedule Notes

• Candidate must have at least 5 years experience
• Candidate must be punctual
• Night shift: 10:30 PM-7:00 AM
• Weekends are required

Job Summary

The Central Sterile Processing Technician provides sterile products and instruments to all members of the health care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide sterile products and instruments to all members of the health care team.

• Perform Central Sterile Processing Technician duties according to established procedures and requirements.

• Read, write, add, subtract, and read temperature gauges as required for the position.

• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while performing assigned responsibilities.

• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent education.

• Completion of an appropriate Aide training program.

• Completion of a Central Technician program.

• 6 months of previous experience in Central Supply.

• At least 5 years of experience.

• Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and read temperature gauges.

• Must be punctual.

• Weekend availability is required.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

• NICHSPDP Certification is required as a qualification for a CSP Tech position.

Working Conditions

Position may be based in a hospital or ambulatory/mobile imaging setting. Exposure to radiation, high-voltage equipment, and infectious diseases is possible with appropriate safety precautions. Position may require assisting with patient transfers and moving equipment.
