Certified Surg Tech – Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Must be able to scrub
• Must be able to independently perform cranial procedures
• Orthopedic trauma experience required
• General OR experience required

Assignment Details:

• Schedule options include 5x8s or 4x10s.
• Shifts begin at 0700 Monday through Friday, with the same schedule week to week.
• Call is required.
• Two weeknight call shifts per week from end of shift until 0700 the next morning, or 8 call shifts per month.
• Three weekend call days per month with 24-hour shifts.
• Holiday call is required as needed.
• Call response time is 15 minutes.
• Floating may be required to support sterile processing when needed.
• Block scheduling is not approved.
• Travelers must be flexible and willing to float and work when needed.
