St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a Certified Surgical Tech (CST) for a Cardiac Surgery unit located within the Edgewood, Kentucky hospital.

Shift & Hours: 1st shift; Full-time, 32 hours weekly.

Under the direction of the licensed caregiver, performs the duties of the scrub person to meet the needs of the patient in the procedural setting. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.

Qualifications

Education, Credentials, Licenses

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technician program.

• Proof of certification within one year of hire date.

Specialized Knowledge

• In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, surgical procedures, instruments, sutures, and equipment for surgical procedures.
