The Villa is a 70+ bed assisted living community offerings residential and assisted living, 12-bed secured memory care, and short-term respite care solutions. At the heart of the Villa is a community of caring staff that provide dignified and compassionate support to each resident.

How you'll contribute

A Certified Surgical Tech, First Assist who excels in this role:

  • Position patients to ensure optimal exposure for surgical procedures while maintaining comfort and safety, utilizing appropriate stabilization equipment as needed
  • Maintain clear visualization of the operative site through techniques such as tissue manipulation, retraction, sponging, suctioning, and irrigation
  • Apply appropriate methods to control bleeding (hemostasis), both temporary and permanent
  • Assist with wound closure, application of dressings, and securing of drainage systems
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and interact professionally with patients, clients, vendors, and other external partners
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Maintain a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards, including HIPAA
  • Follow established policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

What we're looking for -

Associate's degree preferred; completion of an accredited program in the relevant discipline required

  • Certification as a Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
