Certified Surgical Tech - Operating Room

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Location: Evanston, IL

Assignment Details:

• Duration: 8 weeks
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift Options:
  • 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
  • 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (with rotating day off)
• Schedule: Monday Friday

Call Requirements:

• On-call required
• Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital while on-call

Floating Requirements: None

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of CST experience
• At least 1 prior travel contract required
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Preferred (not required): Plastics, General, Orthopedic, ENT, and Neuro cases

Licensure & Certifications:

• NBSTSA Certification (required)
• BLS Certification (required)

Orientation:

• Scheduled on any weekday prior to start

Credentialing Requirements (Due Thursday before start date):

• Complete Blood Count (CBC)
• Drug Screen (DS)
• QuantiFERON Gold test (within 90 days)

• ORI: 8 hours (non-billable)
