Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligible. Approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience and successful achievement in medications exam.
Knowledge in the use of cleaning/sterilization/disinfections of equipment and instrumentation utilized in the clinical operating room setting. OR experience preferred.
Desire to work within an Operating Room setting. BLS required.
Continuing education requirements of 15 CEUs per year.
