What You'll Do
- Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including general, bariatric, neuro-spine, neuro-vascular, Urology, and transplant cases
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures
- Support sterilization, equipment setup, and patient positioning
- Collaborate with surgical teams, including RNs and physicians, to ensure smooth case flow
- Maintain sterile fields and assist with patient care during surgery
- Follow all hospital protocols and safety standards
- Support transplant and robotic surgeries as needed, including neuro and bariatric procedures
What You Need
Required:
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience in an acute care setting
- Ability to pass EKG competency exam prior to arrival
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and call shifts
Preferred:
- Experience with robotic surgeries (Da Vinci)
- Transplant, neuro, or bariatric surgical tech experience
- Knowledge of Meditech Expanse EMR system
