What You'll Do
Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, including general, bariatric, neuro-spine, neuro-vascular, Urology, and transplant cases
Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments for procedures
Support sterilization, equipment setup, and patient positioning
Collaborate with surgical teams, including RNs and physicians, to ensure smooth case flow
Maintain sterile fields and assist with patient care during surgery
Follow all hospital protocols and safety standards
Support transplant and robotic surgeries as needed, including neuro and bariatric procedures
What You Need
Required:
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of surgical tech experience in an acute care setting
Ability to pass EKG competency exam prior to arrival
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and call shifts
Preferred:
Experience with robotic surgeries (Da Vinci)
Transplant, neuro, or bariatric surgical tech experience
Knowledge of Meditech Expanse EMR system
