How you'll make an impact in this role

Ensure the safety and efficiency of complex surgical procedures. Prepare the surgical suite, confirming all drapes, solutions, and instruments are sterile and ready. Support the surgical team by expertly handing instruments and anticipating the surgeon's needs throughout the procedure. Assist in the preparation, transport, and positioning of patients, upholding patient comfort and dignity. Maintain a safe, organized, sterile field and accurately track all instrument counts for optimal patient safety.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
• Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• 2 years of recent Certified Surgical Scrub experience.
