Job Summary: Department: Surgery Shift Timings: 06:30-15:00 Hours Monday to Friday (5 Days/8 Hours) Per Week: 40 Hours Roles & Responsibilities: Preparing sterile operating rooms for surgeries. Sterilizing equipment and instruments. Stocking adequate supplies for surgery. Preparing patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites. Providing support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies. Tracking surgical supplies. Staying up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures. Working well with surgeons, surgical assistant, nurses and general surgical team. Helping provide great patient care. Minimum Qualifications: Certified ST AND BLS, Flexible start and end times. Call: based on department needs: usually 1 shift during the week day and 1 weekend a month, Holidays are covered by call. 2 years OR experience, strong ortho, robotics and trauma preferred. May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.
