We’re looking for a CertifiedVeterinary Technician (CVT) who’s skilled, motivated, and ready to make a real impact—both in the clinic and with our clients.

What You’ll Be Doing

You won’t just be assisting—you’ll serve as a licensed professional delivering advanced, high-quality patient care:

  • Communicate medical information clearly and compassionately to pet owners, ensuring full understanding of diagnoses, treatment plans, and at-home care instructions
  • Accurately implement and oversee prescribed treatments, including medication calculations, administration, therapies, and follow-up care
  • Perform and support advanced diagnostic procedures such as radiography, laboratory analysis, cytology, and sample collection
  • Induce, monitor, and recover patients under anesthesia, including continuous assessment of vital parameters and anesthetic depth
  • Place IV catheters, perform venipuncture, and administer fluids, injections, and blood products as indicated
  • Conduct patient assessments, triage cases, and promptly identify and communicate changes in patient status
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and legally compliant electronic medical records and treatment logs
  • Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and state licensing regulations
  • Support efficient clinic operations, including appointment coordination, inpatient care, and emergency response readiness
  • Mentor and provide guidance to veterinary assistants and support staff as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with DVMs and the veterinary team to develop and execute comprehensive patient care plans
  • Contribute to a positive, professional work environment focused on high-quality medicine and client service

  • Venipuncture & catheter placement
  • Lab diagnostics (bloodwork, urinalysis, cytology basics)
  • Digital radiology + imaging support
  • Anesthesia monitoring equipment (pulse ox, capnography, ECG)
  • Comfortable using veterinary software
  • Strong understanding of animal handling, restraint techniques, and patient safety
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment without sacrificing accuracy
  • Clear communicator—able to translate “vet speak” into real-world language for clients
  • Team-first mindset with a positive, professional vibe

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technician program (Associate Degree)
  • Passed the VTNE + active/eligible RVT license
  • Previous experience in a veterinary setting preferred
  • Passion for patient care and client education (non-negotiable )
  • Must be available to work Monday–Friday with one weekday off, plus rotating Saturdays
