Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Prairie Animal Hospital

Job Description

Prairie Animal Hospital is looking for a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our warm, collaborative team! If you're looking for a hospital where your skills are fully utilized and you can explore both traditional and holistic medicine, this could be a great fit. We are a well-established, 6-doctor small animal practice serving the North Prairie community since 1988. Our team is passionate about providing compassionate, comprehensive care, while continuing to grow and evolve with advancements in veterinary medicine.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with exams, treatments, and patient care
  • Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and lab work
  • Support surgery (prep, anesthesia monitoring, and recovery)
  • Perform and assist with dental procedures
  • Take radiographs (including dental)
  • Provide client education and communication
  • Maintain accurate medical records

  • Licensed/Certified Veterinary Technician
  • Strong technical skills and confidence in patient care
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset
  • Passion for learning and growth

Schedule

  • Flexible scheduling options
  • Full shifts available
  • Rotating Saturdays 8am - 12pm
  • Closed most major holidays
  • No Sundays
