The staff likes to work hard and have fun with patient care, the client experience, and employee success being the top priorities!Veterinary TechnicianChase Farm Veterinary HospitalinNorth Dartmouth,MASalary: $17.00 - $21.00 an hour(based on experience)Weekend shifts are part of the opening we have and typically are every other Saturday with a rotating 1-2-hour Sunday shift approximately every 1-2 months. Our staff schedules are usually 5 days/week with the occasional 4-day work week, and these shifts include morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.WHAT YOU'LL DOProvidecompassionate care topetpatients andtheir loved onesKeepaccuratemedical recordsin accordance withhospital policyPrepare andmaintainthe exam rooms and treatment areasPrepare estimates for procedures and discusses financial commitments with clientsExplain necessary follow-up and home care instructionsStock clinic treatment area and exam rooms, and inform inventory manager when supplies need to be orderedAssist the Veterinarian in office visits, medical, surgical, and dental procedures (be comfortable with blood draws; prepare patients for surgery; administer anesthesia;monitorpatients during surgery and recovery; administer fluids and treatments)Care for all surgical materials and keep the operating room properly stocked and prepared for surgeryRun lab work and take digital radiographsBENEFITSWe'repassionate about helping you reach your greatest potential- both at work and at home.
