About the Role:
Stanglein Veterinary Clinic PC in Northampton, PA is looking for a passionate and skilled Certified Veterinary Technician to join their dedicated team. Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures
  • Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
  • Collect and process laboratory samples including blood, urine, and tissue
  • Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging including digital radiography
  • Monitor and care for patients under anesthesia and during post-operative recovery
  • Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding treatment plans and home care
  • Maintain accurate patient medical records using veterinary practice management software
Requirements:
  • Active Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in Pennsylvania
  • Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program
  • Experience with anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and laboratory diagnostics
  • Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-focused demeanor
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes safely and humanely
  • Team-oriented with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting
