Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Certified Welder to join our Industrial Maintenance team in Russellville, AR. This position is responsible for performing welding, fabrication, repair, and maintenance tasks on industrial equipment, structural components, conveyors, piping systems, and machinery within a warehouse and manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting millwright operations and industrial maintenance projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety and workmanship.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform MIG, TIG, Stick (SMAW), and Flux-Core welding as required.
Weld, fabricate, modify, and repair metal structures, equipment, machinery, and components.
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, engineering drawings, and work orders.
Assist with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment.
Support millwright activities including equipment alignment, assembly, disassembly, and relocation.
Repair conveyors, frames, platforms, catwalks, guards, piping, and structural steel.
Operate welding equipment, plasma cutters, grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools safely.
Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Maintain welding certifications and ensure all work meets applicable codes and standards.
Work collaboratively with maintenance technicians, millwrights, engineers, and production personnel.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
Respond to maintenance emergencies and equipment breakdowns when needed.
Required Qualifications
Current welding certification from AWS or equivalent accredited organization.
Minimum of 2 years of industrial welding experience preferred.
Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Core welding processes.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and fabrication drawings.
Working knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and equipment.
Ability to use precision measuring instruments and welding inspection tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, warehouse, or millwright environments.
Structural steel welding experience.
Pipe welding experience.
Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
Forklift, aerial lift, or rigging experience.
Physical Requirements
Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
Ability to work at heights using ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and industrial warehouse conditions.
Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work Environment
This position works in an industrial warehouse and maintenance environment where exposure to welding fumes, noise, machinery, dust, heat, and varying weather conditions may occur. Strict adherence to safety policies and PPE requirements is mandatory.Day Shift $20 an hour.
