CERTIFIED WELDER INSPECTOR
Position Summary:
The Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is responsible for inspecting and verifying welded components and assemblies to ensure they meet company specifications, customer requirements, and aerospace industry standards. This role performs visual and dimensional inspections, reviews welding documentation, and ensures compliance with quality and regulatory requirements. The CWI works closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to maintain product integrity and ensure welding processes meet required specifications.

Experience:
MIG welding: 10 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability: Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Write simple correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees. Must know how to read and write English language.
Mathematical Ability: Add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Compute rate, ratio and percent, and draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Basic
Certificates and Licenses: High School Diploma or GED, AWS D17.1_D17.1M _D1.1 Mig & Tig welding.
