Job Title:Certified X-Ray Technologist

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. No weekends or major holidays. Overtime may sometimes occur but is not common in this position.

Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent License through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Job Summary:We are a large, privately owned, primary care office located on the campus of St. Vincents in Birmingham. Our X-Ray Techs work together to maintain an efficient department and provide quality patient scans as ordered by the physicians.

Job Duties Include:

Operating radiology equipment under the direction of the physicians. Explaining the process and correct positioning to the patients for their scan. Moving and adjusting equipment to set exposure factors. Reviewing and evaluating images to determine if they are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes.
