This highly self-motivated, professional individual will be responsible in performing various duties as a front desk agent in the hotel lobby and dealing with all guest interactions. Essential Functions:Meet and greet individuals entering the lobby.Handle incoming calls for reservations and guest questions.Complete guest check-in software, paperwork and explain hotel policies. Must be able to enforce hotel policies and handle guest confrontation in a calm manner.Order office and hotel housekeeping supplies.Assign and track all parking passes.Prepare maintenance work orders.Maintain guest information within Excel spreadsheets.Reconcile credit card charges. High level of skill in internet search for products and price evaluation.Understand hotel services, and other information about the hotel.Assist with all day-to-day operations of the hotel.Always maintain a high level of confidentiality.Perform all other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.Must be a reliable employee.Capable of managing workload and prioritizing tasks.Handle guest disputes in a professional manner.High level of skill in working with various computer software including Microsoft Office.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with co-workers and hotel guests.Maintain a high level of confidentiality with company and personnel information.Integrity and honesty are essential due to responsibility for handling company funds.Must have a valid ID and reliable personal transportation.
