    Job Title: Receptionist / Bookkeeper Wage/Hour Status: Nonexempt

    Reports to: Campus Administrator Pay Grade: Aux PG 5

    Dept./School: CES Annex

    Primary Purpose:

    Responsible for maintaining all necessary enrollment records, timely billing of client's

    accounts, all agency billing and deposits. Provide reception and clerical assistance for the

    efficient operation of the campus office.

    Qualifications:

    • An Associate Degree in business or a related field is preferred.
    • Bookkeeping experience is required.
    • Proficient keyboarding skills
    • Effective organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to understand and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
    • Ability to operate multi-line phone system

    Major Responsibilities and Duties:

    1. Fulfills all record keeping responsibilities

    2. Print and file all reports in a timely manner for the Business Office

    3. Accounts receivable data entry, deposits, weekly invoicing of customer accounts, monthly agency billing, adjustment and preparation and distribution of accounting reports.

    4. Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.

    5. Greet and direct campus visitors. Maintain visitor log and issue visitor passes.

    6. Assist parents in checking students in and out of school.

    7. Prepare and distribute student identification cards, bus passes, and parking stickers.

    8. Assist with the receipt and distribution of student materials, including homework requests.

    9. Receive, sort, and distribute mail, messages, documents, and other deliveries.

    Other

    1. Provide clerical assistance as needed including assisting with the scheduling of appointments.

    2. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents as required.

    3. Maintain confidentiality.

    4. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.

    5. Alternative methods of performing duties.

    3. Ability to effectively instruct children.

    4. Ability to maintain emotional control during stressful situations.

    5. Ability to maintain a clear focus on the best interest of the families served.
