A publicly traded financial services organization is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead its finance organization through its next stage of growth and transformation. This executive will combine deep banking expertise with public-company financial leadership, providing strategic direction across financial reporting, organizational planning, executive decision support, and finance modernization.
This is broader than a traditional accounting leadership position. The CFO will partner closely with executive leadership and the Board while maintaining executive ownership of SEC reporting and strengthening the financial infrastructure required to support a growing, technology-enabled financial institution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead enterprise financial strategy and provide guidance to executive leadership and the Board.
Maintain executive oversight of SEC reporting, including Forms 10-K and 10-Q.
Lead and develop the broader finance and financial reporting organization.
Strengthen reporting processes, workflows, controls, and management visibility.
Modernize finance systems and reduce reliance on manual or spreadsheet-intensive processes.
Partner with technology leadership on finance transformation initiatives.
Evaluate organizational structure and develop the finance function for future growth.
Support strategic decision-making across banking and technology-enabled business initiatives.
Role Requirements
Senior financial leadership experience within the banking industry.
Prior CFO experience or equivalent broad executive finance responsibility.
