Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Government/Fund Accounting

Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial oversight, including month-end close, year-end reporting, and government compliance
- Provide leadership for a small but critical accounting team (AR/AP & Financial Analyst)
- Manage banking, fund allocation, and reconciliations to ensure financial stability
- Deliver high-level financial insights and reports to the board and executive leadership
- Oversee journal entries, reconciliations, payroll reviews, and AP accuracy
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred but not required)
- Government/Fund Accounting - Affordable Housing Experience
- Detail-Oriented & Hands-On – This role requires deep financial acumen and a willingness to dive into the numbers
- Collaborative Leadership – Patient, solutions-driven, and able to work across departments
