CGP: Fixed Assets Staff Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Staff Accountant for Fixed Asset to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $35.00 to $43.00 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee full cycle accounting across multiple entities and ensure accurate property level and consolidated reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and tax requirements, including CAM reconciliations.
• Lead the month end close, cash management, and intercompany reconciliations while maintaining strong internal controls.
• Manage audit preparation, coordinate documentation, and finalize accounting entries to support accurate K1 issuance.
• Coordinate lender compliance reporting and collaborate with tax advisors to meet filing deadlines.

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA credentials preferred.
• 8+ years of accounting experience, including 3+ years in a Controller or senior property/corporate accounting role.
• Demonstrate experience in commercial or industrial real estate, including CAM, multi-entity consolidations, and fund accounting.
• Maintain strong knowledge of GAAP, audit processes, K1 preparation, and investment waterfall structures.
• Utilize proficiency in MRI and QuickBooks, with additional value from Yardi experience and advanced Excel skills.
