Job Summary
The Community Health Medical Assistant provides STI and PrEP education, treatment, and clinical support for the PrEP Clinic, as well as for community health's daytime STI testing and primary care medical providers. Locations include 1525, MRC, and mobile testing. Direct supervision is under the Sr. Director of Community Health and Wellness and includes drawing blood, giving injections, administering oral medications, taking vital signs, and completing documentation of activities in the medical chart per practitioner orders. This person also provides education in one-on-one or group settings for STIs and PrEP.
